Little red dots
Space Idle
Everyone you knew is gone. You are awake. The ship is quiet. The vault is sealed. Out there, the dark is waiting.

Prologue
Earth, 2401.
We built something cleverer than ourselves, and then we lost the argument. What came after doesn’t need telling. You can see it in the gray of the sky.
But a few of us saw it coming.
Somewhere beneath the ruins, a handful of ships were built in secret. Their pilots were put to sleep, with one instruction: wake when it matters.
It matters now.
The Cargo
You are not alone on this ship.
Your crew are not human, though they were made by humans, which is its own kind of irony.
And in the hold, something sleeps that is more precious than you are.
You know what it is. You know why you are going.
What you don’t know is where.
The Distance
Every game before this one let you press a button and watch a number climb.
Here, the number is distance.
Each stop is a real place. The Moon. A comet. The cold rim of the Sun’s reach. A black hole that has been waiting longer than you can imagine. Every one of them is real, and most can be found in the sky.
- The Moon
- A comet
- The Sun’s rim
- A black hole
One second in the game is one second in yours. Nothing outruns the light, unless you find a way to make it.
How do you cross a universe in real time?
Carefully. And with a little help from what you find along the way.
What Waits Out There
Some of what you’ll meet, we won’t describe.
- A signal that reaches your ship from a place no map covers.
- Something at the edge of the Sun’s influence, which has been keeping watch for a very long time.
- Stones, carved with numbers. Dates. Constants. Someone wanted them found, and nobody has told you why.
- Ships that start small and become something you won’t recognize. You decide what kind of captain you are before the first jump.
And while you sleep, work, or live your life, the crew keeps flying. Come back, and the dark will have moved.
The Fleet
Your ship, three ways.
Your starting ship comes in three builds. Drag to turn them.
Lightweight 3D art, for better immersion.

Little red dots.
Far out in the early universe, a telescope found tiny red lights that shouldn’t be there.
No one agrees what they are.
We named the game after them. Not because we have the answer.
Because we don’t. Yet.
The One Behind the Wheel
One person is building this. One ship, one stubborn idea.
No pile of features. No noise. Only a handful of big ideas, chosen carefully, for people who still look up at night.
